Company Official & Employee Congress 2008

In the morning May 10, 2008 AGRIMEXCO organized Official & Employee Congress 2008. Attending were Mrs. Nguyen Thu Nga, General Director of Saigon Agricultural Incorporation, and more than 80 delegates representing over 1,000 employees & workers in the Company. The Congress reported results of production and trading in 2007, situation of performance of Collective Labour Agreement, and put forward some targets for 2008 Plan. In her speech, Mrs.Nguyen Thu Nga praised highly AGRIMEXCO for its achievements, also noted difficulties & challenge in carrying out 2008 tasks, and undertook continuing support for AGRIMEXCO’s fulfilment of tasks. The Congress ended successfully at 11h30 on the same day.

Ceremony of receiving ISO 9001:2000 Certification:

After more than one year deploying ISO 9001:2000 procedures in the Company’s management system, on May 10, 2008 AGRIMEXCO formally organized ceremony of receiving Certificate TW08/00066 for meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 from SGS Sysems & Services Certification (Head Office in Switzerland). Delivering speech at the ceremony, Mr.Vu Duc Thang, Vice General Director of SGS Vietnam, praised highly the process of ISO standard performance by AGRIMEXCO and affirmed that this ISO certification would contribute to consolidating AGRIMEXCO’s prestige in the business world. Also participating are distinguished representatives from Saigon Agricultural Incorporation and its member units, customers, and more than 80 delegates representing over 1,000 employees & workers in the Company.

Informations on investment in Binh Phuoc Station of Stockpiling and Processing Agricultural Products

At present, AGRIMEXCO is deploying construction of stage1 (Including 9,000 m² warehouses; 10,000 m² drying yards; electric transformer station 150 KVA; 5,000 m² work shop & office…) Project of Stockpiling, Processing Agricultural Products and Trading Servicing Station with area 5 ha on Highway14, Dong Phu District, Binh Phuoc Province. This location is very convenient for the works of stockpiling, processing and transporting agricultural products for export as well as for animal feed domestic trading. Stockpiling capacity can reach 20,000 MTs per year. AGRIMEXCO is calling & inviting foreign and domestic investors to participate in investment co-operation or joint-venture business for carrying out the A/M project.

Turnover / Sales

In 2007 turnover reached USD 24,185,000 of which USD 7,682,000 was counted from export and USD 16,503,000 from import; total sales amount reached VND 383 billion figure.
